Lake path |
|
Set off to discover the high mountain lakes. From Tignousa, go along the planet trail. When you reach Uranus, leave the solar system and head for the Lake of Combavert. Via the foot of the Meiden Pass, you will easily reach the Lake of l’Armina, a little haven of peace in the middle of the Alpine pastures. Next, discover the Lake of la Bella-Tola, peacefully located at an altitude of 2,579 m. On the way back, admire the Marais de Rouaz, before heading towards the Bella-Tola refuge and then back to Tignousa.
Duration: 4hrs
Walking enthusiasts can stop off at the Lake of the Meiden by taking the Meiden Pass, situated between the Lake of Combavert and the Lake of the Armina. This detour via the lakes will prolong your walk by 1h30.

| For leisure fishing in the Rhone, rivers, mountain lakes and ponds, a daily or weekend license is on sale at the Café des Alpes to Vissoie.
Fishing is authorised in the following lakes: Combaverzt, Tounot, Ilsee.
Lac Noir and Armina are private property and no fishing is allowed.
Price of daily license:
Adults: Fr. 30.-
Children 14-16 yrs: Fr. 23.-
Price of weekend license:
Adults Fr. 50.-
Children 14-16 yrs: 37.50

| The river Raspille, not far from Sierre, is the perfect place for an introduction to canyoning. It is readily accessible and offers a succession of jumps and abseil down the cascade. Price: SFr 80.00 per person for the 1st part – SFr 150.00 for the complete ride (all day). The river Rogne: located in the access valley to the Sanetsch pass, this torrent will take you from emotions to thrills in a secret narrow gorge ornamented with bluish water basins. (Jumps and abseils) Price: SFr 100.00 per person (1/2 a day). For both rides, the equipment is supplied and specially trained canyoning guides guarantee your safety. Please take with you towels, a swimming costume and sports or walking shoes.
